What is Metaworkers?

Metaworkers builds AI teammates for meetings. Maya joins Microsoft Teams calls and Michael joins Zoom calls as clearly labelled AI sales assistants. You paste a meeting link, confirm that everyone has agreed to an AI joining, and admit the assistant from the lobby. It listens to the whole conversation, answers out loud only when addressed by name, and sticks to what was actually said, so a proposed discount is reported as proposed rather than approved. It stops when someone talks over it, can be told to just listen, and leaves when asked. On Zoom, Michael can also create documents and post them in the meeting chat. Unlike a note-taker that reports afterwards, it answers during the call. Billing is prepaid: you buy minutes in packs by card, there is no subscription, and time is billed to the second from admission to departure, with lobby time free. Prices per pack are not listed. Metaworkers also publishes an open-source project called Governed Memory, which adds a trust layer to AI agent memory.
