This page explains how Debuly decides which AI tools to list and how we write about them.
How tools are chosen
Editors pick tools that are publicly available and clearly AI-powered. Other directories may help us notice a tool, but we never copy their descriptions, ratings or images. Suggesting a tool is free and never guarantees a listing.
How facts are checked
- Every listing cites at least one official source, such as the vendor's website, documentation or pricing page, with the date we accessed it.
- A starting price is shown only when we read it on the official pricing page, with the date we checked.
- Each listing's sources table shows the date we read every source, so you can see how current its facts are.
Original descriptions
Taglines and descriptions are written in our own words. We don't reuse vendor marketing copy.
Logos and images
Listings show each tool's own logo and, where one exists, its official preview image. We copy these only from the vendor's own website (site icons, social preview images, press kits) or its official GitHub organisation, host the files ourselves, and record where and when each one came from. Every tool page credits the source under "Sources & verification".
We don't use third-party logo services or images from other directories. Logos are trademarks of their owners and are shown only to identify the product; showing one doesn't mean the vendor endorses Debuly. A tool without an official image gets a generated tile, never a made-up screenshot. Owners can ask us to remove a logo or image at contact@dubely.com, and we will.
Auto-collected listings
To cover more of the market, some listings are collected automatically before an editor reviews them. We find candidate tools in openly licensed community lists, public code repositories and web search, read each tool's official pages (homepage, pricing, docs), respecting robots.txt, and write the summary, use cases and features in our own words from what those pages say. The pricing model and any price are set only when the official pricing page states them; otherwise pricing shows as unknown.
Every listing names its sources and the date we read each one. Spotted something wrong? Tell us at contact@dubely.com.
No ratings or rankings
We don't publish star ratings, scores, "best" or "trending" labels, because we have no fair basis for them yet. Lists can be sorted by date added, name or date verified, and that's all.
Money and independence
We earn money from affiliate links and labeled sponsored placements. Neither affects whether a tool is listed, how it is described, or where it appears in lists. See the disclosure.
Corrections
Spotted an error? Email contact@dubely.com with the listing and a link to an official source. We review corrections, update the listing and its source dates when facts change. Tools that shut down are marked unavailable rather than silently removed.
