WaveAssist

Cloud runtime for scheduled AI agents that your coding agent builds over MCP, running as fixed code with schema-locked model calls.

Paid

What is WaveAssist?

WaveAssist is a hosted runtime for AI agents that you build from your editor. You connect Claude Code, Cursor or any MCP host with a token, describe a recurring job in plain English, and your coding agent designs the pipeline, deploys it, runs it once on live infrastructure and arms the schedule only if that test passes. After the model does its thinking at build time, the agent runs as codified Python, and model calls are wrapped so the output follows a fixed JSON schema, which keeps results consistent from run to run. State is stored between runs so each one picks up where the last left off. Examples include a Monday ClickUp summary posted to Slack, pull request reviews, and daily digest emails. Pricing is usage based: every account includes $2 of runtime credit, then you add prepaid credits, with no tiers and no subscription.

Use cases

  • Schedule weekly task summaries to Slack
  • Review pull requests with structured comments
  • Email a daily signups and revenue digest
  • Build recurring agents from an editor
  • Run model calls with a fixed output schema
  • Verify an agent before its schedule starts

Who it's for

  • Developers
  • Engineering teams
  • Founders

Why use WaveAssist

  • Runs agents as code, so each run costs a fraction of a cent instead of a full model prompt every time.
  • Output keeps the same structure on every run because model calls are locked to a schema.
  • A failed test run stops the schedule, so a broken agent does not go live unattended.
  • Works with any MCP-capable editor, so you stay in your usual tools.
  • No subscription: you start with $2 of runtime credit and pay only for use.

WaveAssist features

  • Agents created by your coding agent over MCP
  • Codified Python pipeline that runs the same way each time
  • call_llm wrapper that locks output to a JSON schema
  • fetch_data and store_data for state kept between runs
  • Live verification run before a schedule is armed
  • Cloud scheduling and hosting
  • Rotatable MCP token for authentication
  • Prepaid pay-as-you-go runtime credits

WaveAssist integrations

  • Claude Code
  • Cursor
  • ClickUp
  • Slack

How to get started with WaveAssist

  1. Sign in at app.waveassist.io and copy your MCP token.
  2. Add WaveAssist to Claude Code, Cursor or another MCP host with one command or JSON block.
  3. Describe the job in plain English, naming the sources, the task and the schedule.
  4. Your coding agent builds the pipeline, deploys it and runs it once on real infrastructure.
  5. If that run passes, the schedule is armed. If it fails, the agent stays off.

WaveAssist limitations

  • Agents are created through a coding agent over MCP rather than by hand
  • Credits are prepaid and, apart from legal exceptions, non-refundable
  • Model output can still be wrong, so verify anything you rely on
