Agent Barn

Open-source control plane for running AI agents in Slack, Teams and Telegram, with templates, skills, cost tracking and self-hosting.

Open source

What is Agent Barn?

Agent Barn is a control plane for operating a fleet of AI agents from one place. Teams talk to agents in Slack, Microsoft Teams or Telegram to search Jira, check GitHub activity, update a CRM, pull knowledge from Confluence and receive scheduled reports. Each agent is defined by a versioned Markdown template covering its role, instructions, tools and restrictions, and it can be given reusable skills and encrypted credentials for services such as Jira, GitHub, Bitbucket and Gmail. The control plane records conversations, tool calls, logs, lifecycle state and model costs, with organizations, roles and per-agent access. You pick a runtime per agent, OpenClaw or Hermes. The software is open source under Apache 2.0 and deploys with Helm to Kubernetes, using PostgreSQL and LiteLLM for model routing. Options include a $20 per month Personal Agent on Telegram, a free-for-now hosted Cloud, and an 8-week Supervised Pilot for $1,000.
