What is unslop?

unslop is an open-source tool for people who write with AI assistants and want the result to sound less machine-made. It targets stock vocabulary, flattery, hedging stacks, em-dash pileups and similar tells, and rewrites the prose while keeping the facts. Code blocks, inline code, URLs, headings, frontmatter and tables are preserved byte for byte. It runs as a Claude Code plugin you toggle with /unslop, as rule files for Cursor, Windsurf and Cline, as extensions for Gemini CLI and Codex, and as a standalone command-line tool. Five modes range from subtle to full, plus voice-match, which saves a numeric profile of your own writing, and anti-detector. Sub-skills cover commit messages, PR review comments and markdown files. How to get started with unslop

1. In Claude Code, add the plugin marketplace entry for MohamedAbdallah-14/unslop and install the unslop plugin.
2. Restart and type /unslop to turn it on; a mode badge appears in the statusline.
3. Switch modes with commands such as /unslop full or /unslop voice-match.
4. Run /unslop-file on a markdown file, or use the CLI with a mode flag.
5. Say stop unslop to turn it off.

unslop limitations

• Humanness results come from an LLM judge, not from AI-detector scores
• The anti-detector mode is not a guaranteed bypass for detectors
• Some optional features download model weights on first use
