Sinatra

Autonomous coding agent that takes issues from GitHub, Linear, Slack or your terminal and returns a draft pull request.

Freemium

What is Sinatra?

Sinatra is a hosted autonomous coding agent. You hand it work by assigning a Linear issue, adding its label to a GitHub issue, mentioning it in Slack, or running a task from the sinatra CLI, an MCP server in Claude Code, Cursor, claude.ai or ChatGPT, or the HTTP API. It runs the job in a hosted sandbox, plans the change, writes the code, runs your tests, opens a pull request on a branch, and replies to eligible review feedback and failing CI checks, while merging stays with you. Setup is done once per workspace by installing the GitHub App, optionally connecting Linear and Slack, and adding model access. Sinatra bills a flat monthly price per workspace for orchestration and never charges for model usage, so you bring your own Claude or ChatGPT subscription or an Anthropic or OpenRouter API key. Plans are Free at $0, Pro at $20 a month, Team at $99, Scale at $249 and a custom Enterprise contract, differing in how many tasks run at once.

Use cases

  • Delegate GitHub issues to an agent
  • Turn Linear tickets into pull requests
  • Fix failing CI checks automatically
  • Start coding tasks from the terminal
  • Trigger work from Slack mentions
  • Respond to code review feedback

Who it's for

  • Software engineers
  • Engineering teams
  • Startups
  • Engineering managers

Why use Sinatra

  • Flat pricing per workspace covers any number of teammates, so seats do not add cost.
  • Sinatra never marks up model usage, so you pay your provider directly.
  • Work starts from tools your team already uses, including GitHub, Linear, Slack and the terminal.
  • A queue lets you assign many tickets and have them start as capacity frees up.
  • No plan imposes a daily or monthly cap on tasks; only the number of simultaneous tasks and the queue size change.

Sinatra features

  • Issue triggers from GitHub, Linear and Slack
  • Hosted sandboxes for each task
  • Draft pull requests on separate branches
  • Automatic fixes for failing CI checks
  • Replies to eligible review feedback
  • CLI, MCP server and HTTP API
  • Bring your own Claude, ChatGPT or API key
  • Task queue with plan-based concurrency
  • Repository settings in .sinatrarc.json

How to get started with Sinatra

  1. Sign in at app.sinatra.dev with GitHub or an email link.
  2. Install the GitHub App on your organization and enable the repositories Sinatra may use.
  3. Optionally connect Linear and Slack, then add a model subscription or API key.
  4. Assign an issue, add the Sinatra label, mention it in Slack or run sinatra from your terminal.
  5. Review the pull request Sinatra opens and merge it yourself.

Sinatra limitations

  • Every account must connect its own model subscription or API key before running tasks
  • A workspace connects to at most one GitHub organization or personal account
  • Free plan runs 1 task at a time and each request stops after up to 60 minutes
  • Merging pull requests stays with you
