What is Devin?

Devin is Cognition's AI software engineering product. It combines Devin Desktop, a CLI, Devin Cloud agents that run tasks in parallel, Devin Review for pull request review, DeepWiki for repository documentation, Ask Devin, and an API. You can hand it a task, mention it from Slack, Teams, Linear or Jira, and it works against GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket repositories. Plans use a usage allowance that refreshes daily and weekly instead of credits, and you can buy extra usage at API pricing when you go past it. Pro unlocks models from OpenAI, Claude, Gemini and SpaceXAI as well as open-source ones, along with free use of Cognition's SWE-2 model. The Free plan costs $0, Pro is $20 per month, Max is $200 per month, Teams is $80 per month plus $40 per full seat, and Enterprise adds SSO, a dedicated deployment option and account management.
