Mica

Company-wide hub to discover, install, improve and govern the AI skills and agents that employees build.

What is Mica?

Mica gives a company one place to manage the AI skills, prompts and agents that employees create on their own. Instead of workflows staying on one person's laptop, an employee asks their assistant to publish a skill, and Mica packages it, suggests its requirements such as permissions, and shares it as Community or Verified. Verified capabilities have an accountable owner and an eval suite that Mica generates from real traces or from the capability itself; every proposed change must pass those evals before it ships. Teams can adapt a capability through overlays stored as patches against the canonical version, so improvements still flow through. Members browse by the job they need done, owners review contributions with summaries, security flags and diffs, and AI admins see what exists, who owns it and which tools and scopes it uses. Suggestions are never silently loaded into an employee's AI context. Pricing is not published.

Use cases

  • Share employee-built AI skills across the company
  • Find an existing AI workflow for a task
  • Test changes to a skill with generated evals
  • Customize a shared skill for one team
  • Review contributions before they ship
  • Track which AI capabilities and tools are in use

Who it's for

Why use Mica

  • Coworkers stop rebuilding workflows that someone has already solved.
  • Evals show what regressed before an owner approves a change.
  • Overlays let teams customize without creating untracked copies.
  • Security and platform teams get visibility without blocking bottom-up experiments.
  • Capabilities are suggested rather than silently loaded into an employee's AI context.

How to get started with Mica

  1. An employee asks their AI assistant to publish a useful skill to Mica.
  2. Mica packages it and proposes metadata and requirements, which the publisher confirms.
  3. The skill is shared as Community, or as Verified with an owner and generated evals.
  4. Coworkers discover it, approve installation and personalize it through an overlay.
  5. Owners review contributed changes against the eval suite before accepting them.

Mica limitations

  • Pricing is not published
  • Verified status requires an accountable owner and a passing eval suite

Mica FAQ

How much does Mica cost?

Mica does not publish prices. Contact the company for current pricing.

Is there a free plan for Mica?

No free plan or trial is described on the site.

What is the difference between Community and Verified?

Community capabilities can be shared in seconds with no evals. Verified capabilities have an accountable owner, and any change proposed to one has to pass that capability's eval suite.

Who is Mica for?

It serves members who want to reuse workflows, capability owners who maintain them, and AI admins who set verification and organizational policies.

Does Mica generate tests automatically?

Yes. Mica builds evals from permitted execution traces or by analyzing a capability's instructions, tools and outputs, so authors do not hand-write test cases.

What are alternatives to Mica?

Related tools for managing company-wide AI agents and skills include Glean, Dust, Writer and Microsoft Copilot Studio.
