What is Context?

Context is a platform for organizations that want AI agents working in production under their own controls. It brings chat, files, documents, spreadsheets, tasks and small apps into one workspace shared by people and agents. Agents are members of the organization: each acts on behalf of the person who asked, runs in a sandboxed Secure VM with the requester's permissions, and has every action recorded in an audit log. Evals score each run against criteria you set and feed the result back into the skill the agent follows next time. Admins get one roster for people and agents, groups, workspace access levels, and a Usage page that breaks spend down by workspace, person, agent and model, with a monthly limit per person. Enterprise deployments can run in your VPC, on-premises or air-gapped, with files kept in your S3 or MinIO bucket. Teams can begin on a free plan and upgrade from Settings, Billing.

Use cases

  • Run AI agents inside a team workspace
  • Score agent runs with custom evals
  • Give each agent its own audited identity
  • Track AI spend by agent and person
  • Build small apps from a chat thread
  • Deploy agents in a private cloud or VPC
  • Teach agents procedures as shared skills

Who it's for

  • Enterprise teams
  • Finance and research teams
  • Platform engineers
  • Founders

Why use Context

  • Agents are governed like staff: roles, access levels, audit trails and spending limits apply to them.
  • Running in your own cloud keeps files and agent work inside infrastructure you control.
  • Evals turn each run into feedback, so agent quality can be measured rather than assumed.
  • A free workspace lets a small team try real tasks before talking to sales.

  3. Mention an agent in chat or assign a task, and review its work before it is sent.
  4. Set evals and write skills so every agent follows the same procedure.
  5. Watch spend on the Usage page and adjust per-person limits or upgrade under Settings, Billing.
