FHIR-native clinical data repository for hospitals with SQL access, an MCP server and a local AI assistant.

Busabase
MIT-licensed database and workspace where AI agents store data, docs, skills and apps, available on desktop, self-hosted or in Busabase Cloud.
What is Busabase?
Busabase is an open-source database and workspace for AI agents. Instead of letting work disappear into personal chat windows, it gives agents and people a shared place with a Data Base for tables, a Knowledge Base for checked answers, an Apps Base for internal tools, a Skills Base for reusable workflows and Playbooks that agents follow before each task. Agents such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and n8n connect through Agent Skills, MCP, OpenAPI or the CLI, and every write records who made it with a full history, with optional human review for important changes. The same MIT-licensed engine runs in Busabase Desktop with local data, in Docker on your own server, or in Busabase Cloud. Cloud pricing starts free for one person, then Plus is $10 per seat per month and Pro is $20 per seat per month, both billed yearly. Self-hosted Premium is $19 per seat per month.
Use cases
- Give several AI agents a shared data store
- Keep agent output as tables, docs and apps
- Hold agent writes for human approval
- Self-host an agent workspace in your network
- Store reusable agent skills and playbooks
- Track customer and content records written by agents
Who it's for
Why use Busabase
- Agent work lands in a shared workspace, so it stays with the company when a person leaves.
- The next agent can read what the last one wrote instead of starting from zero.
- Sensitive data can stay in your network through Desktop or Docker, with Cloud optional.
- Human review and a change history make agent writes easier to audit.
- Cloud pricing is per seat with a free tier, and the engine itself is free under MIT.
