What is Unpod AI?

Unpod AI is an open-source, MIT-licensed communication platform for creating AI agents that have their own phone numbers. Voice agents answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to book meetings, send reminders and collect payments. Chat agents work on web chat, WhatsApp and email, and action agents update CRMs and schedule next steps. You can build agents in a no-code Agent Studio or through Python and Node SDKs, a REST API and MCP. The telephony layer supports SIP trunks, bring-your-own carriers and a WebRTC to PSTN bridge, and data residency can be pinned to the US, EU or India. You can use the managed cloud or self-host with Docker Compose. Pay as you go starts at ₹5 per minute for voice agents, with chat, WhatsApp and email agents at ₹2 per 5-minute session, and enterprise rates on request. A 14-day trial includes 200 minutes and one number.
