What is TweetClaw?

TweetClaw is Xquik's official OpenClaw plugin for Twitter/X. The plugin lets an OpenClaw agent call documented Xquik API endpoints, so it can search tweets, inspect profiles, read timelines, lists, communities and trends, export followers or replies, set up account and keyword monitors with webhooks, and handle posts, replies, likes, reposts, follows, DMs and media. It exposes two tools: explore, which searches a bundled endpoint catalog without touching the network, and tweetclaw, which makes the structured API calls once you authenticate. API keys stay out of prompts and model-visible tool arguments, and the docs tell you to keep approvals on for any write action. You install it with the openclaw plugins command, which needs OpenClaw 2026.7.1 or newer and Node.js 22 or newer, and then add an Xquik API key. Usage is billed in credits: subscriptions run from USD 20/month to USD 199/month, pay-as-you-go credits cost USD 0.00015 each, and an MPP mode covers read-only calls without an account.

Use cases

  • Export followers or replies to CSV
  • Monitor accounts and keywords
  • Draft and post replies with approval
  • Send webhooks for new tweets
  • Look up profiles and timelines

Why use TweetClaw

  • Approvals for posts, replies, DMs and follows keep the agent from publishing unattended.
  • The explore step lets the agent check an endpoint's route and parameters before it spends credits.
  • Searching, exporting and monitoring sit in one plugin, replacing manual copying from the X site.
  • Credits carry over from month to month, so unused subscription credits are not lost.
  • Xquik also offers an MCP server and SDKs, so the same data can be reused outside OpenClaw.

TweetClaw features

  • Search tweets, profiles, replies, followers and trends
  • Follower and reply exports as CSV, JSON or XLSX

TweetClaw limitations

  • Needs OpenClaw 2026.7.1 or newer and Node.js 22 or newer

The plugin runs on Xquik credits. Published subscriptions are USD 20/month with 140,000 credits, USD 99/month with 770,000 credits and Business at USD 199/month with 1,670,000 credits. Pay-as-you-go credits cost USD 0.00015 each.

Does TweetClaw have a free plan?

The billing page lists no free plan. It does describe an MPP pay-per-use mode that covers fixed-price, read-only calls without an Xquik account or API key.

Account-backed automation requires an Xquik API key, Node.js 22 or newer, and OpenClaw 2026.7.1 or newer. The MPP setup is optional and only covers anonymous reads.

Is TweetClaw an MCP server?

No. The docs say it is an OpenClaw plugin. For remote MCP clients Xquik offers a separate MCP server at xquik.com/mcp, and SDKs exist for application code.

Can TweetClaw post to X on its own?

It can post, reply, like, repost, follow and send DMs, but the docs say an agent must not publish unattended posts and recommend approvals stay on for every write.

What are alternatives to TweetClaw?

Alternatives include Zapier and Make for X automation, and agent tools such as AgentGPT and HARPA AI, though they are not OpenClaw plugins.
