What is Soda?

Soda is a macOS application that serves as a memory layer for teams who work with customers. It runs in the background on your Mac, picks up the calls you take and the context of what you are working on, and turns that into a living profile for each customer, prospect or partner, covering what was discussed, what was promised and next steps. No bot joins the meeting: Soda uses your device audio and works with Google Meet, Zoom, Teams, Slack and WhatsApp, with transcription processed on the device. Pressing the Command key twice opens a search box that answers questions from your own notes, your team's shared profiles and company documents, including Google Docs and Sheets you connect. An AI notepad enriches your own jotted notes with call context, and profiles can be shared so sales, account management and customer success see the same history. Soda is currently in private beta and the terms state the service is free of charge for now, with notice promised before any paid plans arrive.

How to get started with Soda

1. Request early access and download the Soda app for Mac.
2. Allow Soda to follow your calls, calendar and email, and pick which meeting apps it may listen to.
3. Hold your conversations as normal while Soda transcribes them on your device and updates customer profiles.
4. Open search from anywhere on your Mac to ask about a customer, a decision or a connected document.
5. Share selected profiles with your team so others can see them.
