Presenton

Open-source AI presentation generator with a REST API, PPTX templates and private deployment for generating editable PowerPoint and PDF decks.

Open source

What is Presenton?

Presenton is an AI presentation generator that creates editable PPTX and PDF decks from prompts, uploaded documents, URLs and structured content. It comes in two forms: a managed Cloud service and an open-source self-hosted version that you run yourself, with a desktop app for Windows, macOS and Linux. Developers can call a REST API, set up webhooks or connect AI agents through a built-in MCP server, while non-developers use the browser editor to adjust text, charts, images and layouts, and to edit selected slides with AI. Custom PowerPoint templates can be imported so generated slides follow your own layouts and fonts. On the Cloud service, one generated slide uses one credit, so a 10-slide deck uses 10 credits. Plan cards with current prices are loaded from the billing service on the pricing page, so check them there. Enterprise licensing is quoted per organization and covers private cloud, on-premises and air-gapped deployments.
