What is Napkin?

Napkin, also written Napkin AI, converts text into visuals. You paste or import content, select the part you want illustrated, and the app generates editable diagrams, flowcharts, infographics and similar graphics that you can restyle, edit and export. Import accepts PPT, DOC, PDF, HTML and Markdown files, and exports include PNG and PDF on every plan, with PPT and SVG unlimited on paid plans. Napkin Visuals and Napkin Slides are separate products under one subscription, so slide building is available on the Free plan too. Generation uses AI credits, charged at roughly one credit per word selected, while manual edits to text, colors, fonts and elements cost nothing. The Free plan gives 500 credits per week, Plus costs $9 per person per month with 10,000 credits per month, and Pro costs $22 per person per month with 30,000 credits per month.
