What is Hyperbolic?

Hyperbolic is an AI cloud that offers serverless inference for more than 25 open-source models through an OpenAI-compatible API, plus GPU instances you can rent by the hour. The inference service covers text, image and vision models with streaming, function calling on 18+ models, JSON structured output and batch processing, and the vendor states a zero data retention policy. For heavier work there are on-demand H100, H200 and B200 GPUs with full SSH access, reserved capacity paid up front at a discount, storage volumes and single-tenant private cloud under custom contracts. Billing uses prepaid compute credits that are 1:1 with dollars, never expire and are bought in amounts of at least $5. Published inference rates start at $0.10 per million input tokens for text models, $0.0025 per image and $0.15 per million tokens for vision models. Account tiers are Basic, Pro and Enterprise.

How to get started with Hyperbolic

1. Create an account on the dashboard and generate an API key.
2. Deposit credits; a deposit of at least $5 moves you to the Pro tier.
3. Point your OpenAI-compatible client at Hyperbolic's endpoint, or launch a GPU instance with your SSH key.
4. Credits are drawn down as you make calls or run instances, and Auto Top-Up can refill the balance.
