What is DeepL API?

The DeepL API lets developers add DeepL's translation and writing tools to their own websites, apps and workflows. The Translate API handles text and documents, including PDF, Word, PowerPoint, HTML and many other formats with the original layout kept, across more than 100 languages. The Write API rewrites and corrects text and can set a style or tone, and the Voice API covers speech-to-text translation for contact centers. Glossaries and style rules keep terminology consistent, and the newest in-house language model is available on paid plans. The API is a separate product from the DeepL Pro apps. The Developer plan is free for up to 1,000,000 characters in total, and the Growth plan charges a fixed monthly or yearly fee with included characters and speech hours, then bills extra usage. Enterprise plans use custom commitments. DeepL lists ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA and GDPR compliance, and states that Pro customer data is never used to train its models.

How to get started with DeepL API
