PraisonAI

MIT-licensed Python framework for building AI agents, multi-agent teams and workflows with memory, RAG and MCP support.

Open source

What is PraisonAI?

PraisonAI is an open-source framework for building AI agents in Python with little code. You can start with a single Agent that takes instructions, group several into an AgentTeam, chain steps with AgentFlow, or serve agents as a web API with AgentOS. It includes memory, knowledge and RAG, self-reflection, guardrails, human-in-the-loop approval, a model router, telemetry and more than 140 built-in tools. Native Model Context Protocol support covers over 100 MCP server integrations, and more than 100 language model providers work through LiteLLM, including OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Ollama and Groq. A dashboard called Claw gives a chat interface and can deliver agents to Telegram, Discord, Slack and WhatsApp. You install it with a one-line script, uvx, pipx or pip. The framework is MIT licensed, can be self-hosted or deployed to Azure, AWS, GCP or Kubernetes, and costs nothing beyond your model usage.
