What is AI21 Labs?

AI21 Labs builds language models and the tooling around them for businesses. Developers reach the Jamba Mini and Jamba Large models through REST endpoints, an SDK or the AI21 Studio playground, and pay per token. Larger organizations can move to a custom plan with volume discounts, premium rate limits, private cloud hosting and a dedicated account manager. Beyond the API, the company sells post-training, where its researchers work with a customer to train a specialized model on that customer's data, and a gateway product.
