What is Modulate?

Modulate provides voice and audio AI models that you call over a batch REST API or a real-time WebSocket, priced per hour of audio processed. The catalogue covers speech-to-text in English and 70+ languages with speaker diarization, detection models for synthetic voices, emotion, accent, language, music and non-speech sounds, PII and PHI redaction, and Velma, a conversation-understanding model that flags configurable behaviors, topics, sentiment and summaries from a call. Add-ons such as emotion, accent and PII tagging can be attached to transcription. Pay-as-you-go credits cost $1.00 per 100 credits, and annual commitments of $30K, $180K and $450K lower the rate and add uptime and support terms. A custom agreement is also offered. Modulate also sells ToxMod, a proactive voice moderation product for games and online communities, with tiers from a $0 Starter to $20,000 monthly.
