What is Mesh API?

Mesh API is an AI gateway that routes standardized requests to more than 1,000 models from providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta and Sarvam. Developers use one endpoint and one key, choose models with a brand/model-name ID, and let Mesh pick the provider and fail over automatically. The dashboard has API keys with spend caps and rate limits, model allowlists, billing, logs with latency and token counts, and prompt templates. Billing is pre-paid: you load credits, tokens are deducted in real time, and there are no subscriptions or minimums. Pay as you go has a 0% platform markup and model-based token pricing, and a Volume plan is custom. Balances are held in your local currency and can be topped up by UPI, net banking, wallets, cards or international methods. Mesh describes itself as a sovereign AI gateway for Asia.
