ComfyUI
Node-based interface and backend for building diffusion workflows for images, video and 3D, run locally or on Comfy Cloud.
What is ComfyUI?
ComfyUI is a graph-and-nodes application for generative media. Instead of one prompt box, you connect nodes for loading models, sampling, conditioning and post-processing, so every sampler, scheduler and model chain is visible and adjustable, and finished workflows can be saved, shared and reused. The core software is open source and runs on your own hardware through Comfy Desktop. Comfy Cloud is the officially hosted version: it needs no GPU on your side, comes with 900+ pre-installed models and many popular community custom nodes, and charges for active GPU time only, not for time spent building a workflow. Partner Nodes also let you call proprietary models such as Nano Banana from the same canvas, paid with the same credit balance. Comfy Agent can build workflows from a plain description. Cloud plans are Standard at $16 a month billed yearly and Creator at $28 a month billed yearly, plus Pro and Team plans for heavier use.
Use cases
- Build node-based image generation workflows
- Generate video with Wan 2.2 and similar models
- Run repeatable pipelines through the API
- Import custom LoRAs and fine-tuned models
- Share workflows with a team as app links
- Deploy a workflow as a production API
- Call partner models from one canvas
Who it's for
Why use ComfyUI
- Full control over the generation pipeline, which prompt-only tools hide.
- Pay only for running workflows on Comfy Cloud; idle time while building does not use credits.
- Every model on Comfy Cloud is stated to be cleared for commercial use.
- Start on Comfy Desktop for free, or open a browser tab and use Comfy Cloud with no hardware to buy.
ComfyUI features

ComfyUI integrations
How to get started with ComfyUI
- Choose Comfy Desktop to run on your own hardware, or sign in to Comfy Cloud in the browser.
- Open a community template or describe what you want to Comfy Agent to get a starting workflow.
- Adjust nodes, models and settings on the canvas, and add LoRAs or custom nodes.
- Run the workflow; Cloud spends credits only while the GPU is working.
- Share it through an App Mode link or deploy it as an API.
ComfyUI limitations
- Standard plan workflow runs are limited to 30 minutes; Pro raises this to 1 hour
- Importing your own models needs the Creator, Pro or Team plan
- Partner Node credit costs vary by model and settings
- Running locally needs a capable GPU and some technical setup
