What is Reduct?

Reduct is a browser-based tool that turns recordings into searchable transcripts and lets teams edit video by editing text. Upload audio or video, or capture live Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams calls, and a transcript with speaker labels appears in more than 90 languages. You can search one recording or a whole library, highlight and label moments, ask questions about a recording, generate summaries with timestamps, and assemble reels by dragging text. Overnight human transcription is available at extra cost, and redaction removes personal information from audio and video. Reduct is used for user research, legal work such as body camera review, and general video archives. Plans are priced per editor: Personal shows 12 per editor per month and Professional shows 40 per editor per month, with transcription hours pooled across editors, while Enterprise pricing is custom.
