What is Nuva Lab?

Nuva Lab runs open-weight AI video models, MiniMax H3 and its accelerated FastH3 version, on a private host that serves only your company. Instead of calling a shared video API that bills per generated second, a team gets dedicated GPUs, full concurrency and a model fine-tuned on its approved work, including LoRAs. A Creative Agent handles briefs, batches, retries and checks, while an agent for deployment helps keep the host running. Your approvals and rejections feed the next tuning round inside your own deployment. The vendor positions this for performance ads, game marketing and short drama, where characters, products and style need to stay consistent across many clips. Nuva Lab states it holds a MiniMax authorization for deployments that serve US companies. The standard host uses eight RTX PRO 6000 GPUs, and B200, B300 and GB200 hosts are available on request. Pricing is quoted per deployment rather than listed.

Use cases

  • Generate performance ad video variants
  • Produce game marketing creatives
  • Make short drama episodes with consistent characters
  • Fine-tune a video model on brand assets
  • Run batch video generation on private GPUs
  • Replace per-second video API spend

Who it's for

  • Ad agencies
  • Game studios
  • Brands and e-commerce teams
  • Content studios
  • AI product teams

Why use Nuva Lab

  • A private host means your jobs do not wait in a shared queue and your references and review history stay in the deployment.
  • A model tuned on your approved work aims to raise the share of clips that pass review on the first try.
  • A flat hosting cost can be easier to plan than per-second API billing for large daily volumes.
  • Agents handle batches, retries and checks, so your team spends its time reviewing output rather than running tools.
  • The open-weight FastH3-Omni release lets teams experiment on their own hardware before moving to a production deployment.

Nuva Lab features

How to get started with Nuva Lab

  1. Share your volume, clip formats and review criteria so the team can scope the work.
  2. A pilot deploys the model and tests it on your own briefs.
  3. The model is tuned on your approved work and the acceptance rate is measured.
  4. Agents run your video workflows in production on the private host.
  5. Nuva Lab keeps the deployment upgraded and uses your review data to guide later tuning.

Nuva Lab FAQ

How much does Nuva Lab cost?

Price not listed. The vendor gives an illustrative GPU-only figure of roughly $0.014 per second of 768p video at full use, based on eight RTX PRO 6000 GPUs billed at $3 per GPU-hour. It leaves out service fees, storage and network. Contact the vendor for a quote.

How is a dedicated host different from the MiniMax H3 API?

The API is a shared, stateless service billed for each second of video generated. A dedicated host is private to you, runs your fine-tuned weights and improves with your review data.

Can US companies use MiniMax H3 through Nuva Lab?

By default the MiniMax H3 Community License does not cover the US. Nuva Lab says it holds a MiniMax authorization for H3 deployments serving US companies.

Is FastH3-Omni open source?

The vendor says FastH3-Omni, built with FastVideo, has been available as open weights since October 20, 2026. Nuva Lab's production version adds the Creative Agent, fine-tuning on your own data and a dedicated deployment.

Does Nuva Lab use my data to improve models for other customers?

No. The vendor states the feedback loop runs inside your deployment and uses only your data.

What are alternatives to Nuva Lab?

Alternatives include fal, Replicate, Runway, Luma and Together AI for hosted video generation, or running open video models on your own GPUs.
