What is Leonardo Learning?

Leonardo Learning is a reading platform for early readers aged 2 to 7 that adjusts each book to the child as they read. On an iPad it listens to the child reading aloud, notices how they touch the page and, through the camera, sees where their gaze goes, then combines those signals to judge confidence and spot where they get stuck. Stories are filled with familiar details such as pets, favourite things and neighbourhood, and the wording is changed in real time to keep the level challenging but not overwhelming. Content includes interactive storybooks, phonics activities and illustrated reading material built with curriculum experts. Parents review and approve generated material in a dashboard before it reaches the child, and they can follow reading levels, progress and a learning guide for each book. The service is in beta with real families and is taking sign-ups; the vendor does not publish prices.
