What is Convai?

Convai is a platform for creating AI characters that can listen, talk, remember and act in games, simulations and other interactive experiences. Each character is configured with a backstory, a knowledge bank, a voice and optional lip sync and facial animation, and developers can reach those features through the Character Crafting API. Characters can use any avatar, from a simple shape to a detailed custom model, and lip sync works with avatars that carry OVR, ARKit or Reallusion blendshapes.
